Start the New Year Off Right With the Help of Grappler Products

It’s the new year, and the relatives are leaving soon, if not already. The long-lasting parties and dinners are winding down to refrigerated leftovers, and now it’s time to settle back into your routine. But there is one problem; your house still thinks it’s on holiday! But the break is over, and now it’s time to clean up and get your home back in order. Where do you begin? Who can help you? How will you get everything back the way it was a few weeks ago? You’ve got help in arms reach with the Grappler pickup tool.

The Grappler tool helps you help yourself when you need an extra hand with household chores. There is no need to ask the family members who are staying with you to help clean up while visiting your home. You can now store and retrieve objects in hard-to-reach places carefully without reaching and bending with the Grappler. The Grappler is made in different lengths to fit people of all shapes and sizes. And because of that, we are proud to say our product is considered the best on the market.

So now, after the holidays, the Grappler can reach behind the chest of drawers, the dresser, or the work table to grab those ornaments that fell while you were decorating the Christmas tree. You heard the ornaments drop, and you saw them roll, so you know exactly where they are located. Thanks to your good memory, you can now use your Grappler to retrieve those objects that have ended up in hard-to-reach places. And you can do it without hurting yourself. The Grappler tool alleviates the need to bend over or, worse, crawl underneath large furniture, like beds, to get the items you need.

So after your work on the inside is handled, it’s time to take on the yard outside. Outdoors has its share of pick up and removal waiting to be addressed, too. If debris has accumulated from careless passersby or just litter from windy days, the Handy Bag Ringer can help you get a handle on your trash bags as you use the Grappler to reach and pick up messy trash. The Bag Ringer turns your everyday trash bag into a portable, sturdy, secure trash bag. Not even strong winds can turn a trash bag inside out with the Handy Bag Ringer. It is a lightweight, hand-held device that holds the bag’s mouth open so you can insert trash and keep it moving.

If you use a bucket instead of bags to get your job done, you definitely need the Handler. This lightweight bucket positioning accessory minimizes repetitive bending over, reducing back strain and making the cleaning process easier and faster. The Handler attaches to any size bucket, making a portable container that is accessible off the ground.

No back-bending, trash-spilling trash when you use the tool extension that makes tasks that would ordinarily be hard to reach well within your range and the Handler or Handy Bag Ringer. You can tackle jobs at your pace and accomplish much with minimal effort using your handy Grappler tools.

Our manufacturer, Grapplers, Inc., is located in Sparks, NV, and has been building reach extension and commercial grade litter pickup tools since 1992. We are the only USA-made litter pickup tool on the market! We took what we learned to develop a dependable tool that will allow you to pick up and place items in hard-to-reach places where you want them to be for safekeeping or storage. With the help of our tools, even lightweight objects can be easily retrieved without unnecessary bending or stretching.

It also means cleaning up for visitors and storing things out of sight. The Grappler tool to the rescue! You need help this holiday season, and we have the grabber you need to get you ready to entertain. DECORATING THE INTERIOR OF THE HOME

Who doesn’t love decorating the inside of the home for the holidays? Stringing Christmas lights around the ceiling-high tree or placing greenery on the mantle are only some of the many decorations that make the holidays feel more joyous. However, turning the home into a winter wonderland can take a toll on the body. And this is where the Grappler extension reach tool comes in to assist. The Grappler tool can help you hang all of your beautiful bows around the home and place your gold glittered tree topper star on top of your 13-foot high tree without a struggle.

PREPARING THE HOME FOR GUESTS

The holiday season means spending time with family and friends in the house. Unfortunately, this also means cleaning up the home, so visitors won’t accidentally break essential pieces in your home. Time to put away valuable glass objects and unique memorabilia from places traveled near and far. The Grappler tool can help you place your treasured items high up on shelves, away from small children and clumsy guests who might have had too much eggnog. We love our family and friends, but we also love our home and value the items we’ve collected over the years.

CLEANING UP AFTER GUESTS

There is no avoiding it; you have to pick up and clean up after your guests, even if they are family. The Grabbler can make cleaning easy and maybe, less of a chore. Using the Grappler, you can pick up used items without even touching them; there is no need to wear protective gloves and no bending, stretching, or squatting when using the Grappler tool. And if you are using trash bags, the Handy Bag Ringer will help you manage and maneuver those trash bags like they were bins, only lighter and with more control. Until now, your idea of a portable trash can was probably the nearest supermarket bag you could grab before walking out the door. The Handy Bag Ringer is lightweight and easy to open once attached to the bag.

Whether decorating or cleaning up after your guests, our Grappler reach tool can help make your life easier. The Grappler is the perfect long-reach grabber. It’s not heavy, but it is made with sturdy aluminum, so it’s easy to handle for anyone. With the Grappler tool, you will be able to reach areas you were previously unable to. No matter what your need, the Grappler is the reach extension and commercial grade pick-up and grab tool that can help you this holiday season!

Get a Handle on Fall Cleaning with Grappler Tools

Fall is here, which means the seasons are changing while the wind is steadily blowing. And what does the wind bring with it? Dirt, trash, leaves, debris! Our Grappler tools can help you keep up with the wind and keep your lawn and community clean.

Handling trash in the wind using the Handy Bag Ringer

We all love to look at the beautiful leaves on the trees as the seasons change from summer to autumn. We also love to drive down a long tree-lined street filled with yellow, red, brown, and orange leaves against the blue sky. It’s a breathtaking and calming experience. Yet, with all of their glory, no one likes to see leaves blow into their home when they open the front door. Fall means getting a handle on the leaves in the front yard and on the porch and we have just the tool to help. The Handy Bag Ringer to the rescue! After sweeping the pile of leaves from your driveway and lawn into a pile, the handy Handy Bag Ringer will keep your trash bag open for you to easily drop the bundle of leaves inside. Never again will your trash bag blow in the wind and close on you. No more leaves ending up back on the ground for you to re-sweep and maneuver into a garbage bag. Now you can keep up with the daily falling of leaves in autumn with the Handy Bag Ringer.

Holding Trash using Grappler’s Handler

Fall lawn cleaning can be a process! Our tools are designed to help the process be less stressful, take little time, and require minimal effort. One thing people hate about yard work is the physical toll the cleaning process has on the body. After hours of cleaning a front yard and maybe even a backyard, a person can unknowingly suffer from over-exertion from all the physical labor. Our Handler tool is made to avoid the possible pain and discomfort bending can cause on the back and knees. The Handler is a lightweight bucket positioning accessory that easily attaches to any size container so that it becomes easily portable and accessible on the ground. When used with the Grappler, the Handler lessens repetitive bending over, alleviating back strain and facilitating a more manageable and faster cleanup. We have a better idea than leaving your container in one place, causing you to make continuous trips to your buckets to bend over to throw garbage away. With the Handler, you can carry your bucket with you, so throwing away litter and debris is easier. No awkward bending, no spilling, and no accidental knocking over of your bucket. The cleanup process goes so much faster with the Handler.

Picking up Trash with The Grappler Pick up Tool

Since we are discussing getting a handle on trash, we have to talk about handling all types of rubbish. Not all debris is created equally. Some of the waste that may land on your lawn will be soda cans, large empty chip bags, and to-go styrofoam containers. And some of the litter that may blow onto your property will be cigarette butts, toothpicks, and other small objects. No worries, the Grappler can grab all of these objects from out of your hedges and off your lawn. The Grappler is the perfect long-reach grabber. It’s not heavy but still sturdy because it’s made with aluminum, so it’s easy to handle for anyone. This Grappler is designed to feel like an extension of your arm to make it easy for anyone who has trouble bending over to reach items. Never again will you have to put your hands on disgusting objects that others leave on your property; let the Grappler pick up the waste.

Autumn is a beautiful time of the year.  It’s always fascinating to watch the seasons change, the colors of the earth become more vibrant, and the temperatures shift from warm to cool. We want to help you enjoy the passing of seasons when it is time to clean and maintain your community by making the up-keep process fast and easy. Grappler’s Inc. has been recognized nationwide for its achievements and we credit our continued success to listening to our customers’ concerns and focusing on providing superior quality products. Our tools are designed with our customers in mind, so cleaning doesn’t become a dreadful task for you. Keep us in mind when you embark on your yard duties this fall.

7 Tips on How to Organize a Community Cleanup Event

Are you thinking about organizing a community cleanup project in your neighborhood? Are you tired of walking around your block and seeing trash and debris? Well, we want to give you a few tips on how to get started! With the help of our Grappler tool and The Handy Bag Ringer, your cleanup crew will be pleasantly surprised at how effortless and fast they can change an eyesore into a piece of paradise.

The Grappler pickup tool was designed to help people retrieve objects in hard-to-reach places; this makes it an efficient tool for all your volunteers to work fast and be productive regardless of their limitations. The Grappler tool alleviates the repetitiveness of bending over to pick up objects, helping to reduce body aches and pains that might impede progress and discourage full participation. Our tool allows anyone and everyone who cares to help to share in a worthwhile project that will bring pride and relief to the community.

All of our products are manufactured right here in the United States, and we have the reputation of having the strongest pickup tool on the market. So the Grappler is perfect for community events, as well. There is no need to pay for professional services when volunteers can use our lightweight, aluminum Grappler pickup tool to dispose of everything from tiny straws to sticky soda cans without bending or touching trash.

Now, let’s get started on that project you have been thinking about!

1. Choose the right project

Identify one that fixes an existing problem and inspires others to get involved. There are so many community projects that can be organized that will help to beautify the neighborhood. However, you want to be sure you plan a project that will make a difference and solve a problem. At Grapplers Inc., we have the perfect tools to help make your event fun and hassle-free for your volunteers. Collecting trash using grappler tools and holding debris using the handy bag ringer will help volunteers easily and quickly clean up an area in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, this is not a one-and-done event, so you need tools and supplies that can be used over and over with comfort and ease.

2. Make a Detailed Event Plan

It is essential to make a specific plan for the event in advance. There are many moving pieces when assembling a group of people, and you want to be prepared to lessen confusion on the day of your event.

Your plan should include the following details:

  • Life happens, so plan a date for the cleanup and have a backup rain date if possible. The community work needs to be done; however, you do not want your volunteers working outside in the rain.
  • It is imperative to have a meeting location with access to restrooms for volunteers. If there is no restroom nearby, be sure to order portable toilets to have on the premises.
  • Outline of all the work to be completed and the number of volunteers needed. You want to make sure you are adequately using your volunteers who have donated their time to help make the community better. You also do not want to over-work volunteers, so make sure you have enough volunteers for each task. Your outline could be for more than one day or include follow-up work that may need to be done so that anyone who cannot help initially can join later.
  • Make a list of supplies you will need for your project and the required permits or licenses required.

This detailed plan will help you organize a neighborhood cleanup that is efficient and fun.

3. Recruit Volunteers Early

Start advertising your event about 1-2 months before the date. For example, you can make flyers to post around the neighborhood; inform local stores and businesses; ask neighborhood organizations to promote the event in newsletters. You can also post the event details on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

When creating your flier, make sure it includes all the necessary information needed to attend the event:

  • The date of the event
  • The start time and ending time of the event
  • The location address
  • Make a note about what volunteers should wear. Your volunteers need to wear suitable clothing since there is a possibility clothing and shoes may get dirty. Gloves, straw hats, sunscreen, etc., may need to be worn as well, depending on the weather and climate.

Be sure to ask volunteers to sign up to know who is coming and how much more recruiting needs to be done. Keep in mind, volunteers may sign up and not show up at the event, so recruit more volunteers than you need. And lastly, you want to send a reminder to those who have signed up a few days before the event. Life is busy, so reminder emails are essential.

4. Purchase supplies and ask for donations

Unless you have a budget for your event, the most economical approach is to request donations for your neighborhood cleanup. Make a list of your needs and the estimated costs and ask local businesses to donate the funds or the items themselves. Hardware stores are an excellent place to start. You can also purchase our Grappler pickup tool and The Handy Bag Ringers for your volunteers with donated funds. This will take your event up a notch by using our sophisticated tools.

Suggested supplies:

  • Grappler
  • Handy Bag Ringer
  • Gloves
  • Trash bags

5. Assign Specific Tasks During the Cleanup

During your community cleanup, divide your volunteers into groups. Assign each group a specific project. Provide them with a written outline of their task, the required supplies, and a map of the locations to work at (if applicable), along with the locations of restrooms, refreshments (have bottled water especially), and other necessities.

Group tasks can include:

  • Cleaning a specific street or block.
  • Passing out water and snacks to other volunteers.
  • Assisting with volunteer check-in.
  • Taking pictures of the event.
  • Separating garbage from recyclables during litter collection.

When providing group instructions, remember to include instructions for cleaning up after the project is complete.

6. Make a Plan for Debris Removal

Once you’ve collected all of the trash, you will need to have a way to get rid of debris at your community cleanup. Call your city government and ask about options for scheduling a pickup for trash and recycling. If you have a major cleanup project and expect to collect a lot of waste, you may want to rent a dumpster for your big day.

7. Reward Your Volunteers

Have light refreshments for your team of volunteers, especially if the weather is sweltering. Snacks like water, chips, and fruit bars are good to pass out to volunteers to keep them working and enjoying the experience.

And after completing your neighborhood project, reward your volunteers for showing your appreciation for their time. Of course, a post-cleanup party would be ideal, but you can also say “thank you” by providing snacks, a t-shirt, or simply sending handwritten thank-you notes. We hope these tips will help with your cleanup project, and we hope you will consider using our Grappler products to get the work done quickly and efficiently!

How Customers Are Using Grappler Products

At Grappler Inc., we believe a simple life can be a really good life. With all that goes on in the world today, if Grapplers makes life less complicated for our customers, then we have done our job. All of our products are made with our customers in mind. We aim to identify a problem and create a product that is the solution.

The Grappler pick-up tool was made for many reasons; two of them were to help make cleaning up faster and more efficient and to help people who have physical limitations to reach and grab objects in hard-to-reach places when they need them. It is a way to enable independence and reassurance for those who might be challenged by physical limitations.

We are known to have the strongest pick-up tool on the market, and all of our products are manufactured right here in the United States. We’ve sold thousands of reach extension and commercial grade litter pick-up tools since starting the business in 1992!

By listening to our customers’ concerns and focusing on providing superior quality products, we’ve managed to achieve our continued success. Our customers give us bragging rights when they tell us how they are using our Grappler pick-up tool to make their lives easier.

Useful for people who are disabled, wheelchair-bound, or recovering from surgery

Here at Grappler, Inc., we rest well at night knowing we have developed a product that actually helps people who are coping and/or adapting with disabilities or who are recovering from surgery.  One user took time to write:

“Just a note to let you know what a wonderful tool the Grappler is. I purchased a Grappler approximately a month ago in anticipation of my Spinal Surgery. I am not able to bend for the next 6 months. This tool absolutely has saved my life. It is not like any other grabber tool on the market. It picks up everything and is absolutely amazing. I plan on using it even after I am healed and able to bend. Thank you so much for a wonderful product.”

We are so happy to hear our customer’s reviews and that our product is coming to their aid in a time of need. Some of us can only imagine what it’s like to recover from spinal surgery and have to continue picking things up and grabbing items off the shelf. However, many of our customers know first-hand how helpful the Grappler tool can be after a significant surgery, especially if the patient has been advised not to bend over or down at all.

The goal of our Grappler tool is to alleviate the repetitiveness of bending over to pick up objects, helping to reduce body pain. We also want our customers to feel independent, especially in their own homes. With the Grappler by your side, you do not have to wait for friends or family members to grab items off of a high shelf or to get fallen objects in hard-to-reach places. You will be able to use the Grappler extension reach tool on your own without having to depend on other people.

Using the Grappler during a community clean event

The Grappler is perfect for picking up trash at a community event. With our tool, you will not be one of the volunteers, with gloves on, bending down to pick up disgusting discarded items — sticky soda cans, old smelly potato chip bags, and small pieces of litter like straws. Instead, you will be the one quickly and efficiently picking up trash using your lightweight, aluminum Grappler pick-up tool—no dirty hands while and after doing dirty work. Other participants will be amazed at how fast and effortlessly you will be able to clean your assigned area and help with theirs. One user wrote:

“I recently acquired one of your 33- inch long Grapplers and The Handler for use around my house. This last weekend our church had a day of service where we went and cleaned up a nearby park. I brought them both along because I knew they would help me greatly.

What I did not expect was the reaction from all of the other people doing service with me. While everyone was bending over, picking up pieces of paper, used water bottles, leftover paintball gun parts, etc. I was quickly and easily reaching both large and small items (sometimes extremely small!) with ease and saving my back in the process.” – Kelly S., Sparks Nevada

You see, the Grappler is perfect for community clean-up projects. We are sure many of the volunteers went home and purchased a Grappler after seeing Kelly use her pick-up tool.

Another one of our customers used the Grappler to pick up thousands of beer cans, bottles, and other debris left around the Salt River Park in Mesa, Arizona.

“By the end of this adventure, I was completely sold on the tool, and in spite of buying several other cheaper and lighter products over the years, I have found the Grappler to be durable and well suited for picking up not only debris, but also firewood pieces weighing up to twenty pounds, and small items that were out of reach and even major litter such as discarded car tires filled with sand and floating hazards such as large pieces of Styrofoam, gas cans, and construction materials thrown away by litterers in four states.”  – Julie J.

Julie still uses her Grappler almost every day and notes that it’s still very durable and in great shape. So as you can see, we have the best customers on the planet. We love reading the reviews and learning how our tools are helping people every day! We know we make a fantastic product that has been tested and proven to last long, but it is the testimonials from our customers that validate that results. Our customers believe in our tool so much that many buy more than one to keep for themselves or give to a family member or friend. Now that’s a product you can trust! You don’t have to take our word for it; we have tons of customer reviews on our website and Facebook page. Or you can try our tool first hand for yourself and see how quick and easy reaching and retrieving objects with the Grappler can be!
