History of the Gain Cane

Grapplers Inc. started by offering the public The Grappler, an extended reach tool made in America to the highest quality standards. The Grappler quickly became popular for it’s many uses. From handling livestock to picking up trash, to reaching items in hard to reach places, The Grappler made a number of everyday tasks much easier. The Grappler is also well known for its durable construction and quality. It wasn’t long before a new fantastic use for The Grappler was discovered.

The Grappler was already helping many people get items that were out of reach, especially those who thought stepping stools might be too risky or had issues bending over due to the constraints of injuries or old age. The idea then emerged of attaching a Grappler to a cane to further assist this group of people. The Gain Cane was born (almost).

The Gain Cane started as a Grappler attached to a cane by means of a couple of steel hose clamps. This combination looked promising so Grapplers, Inc. began developing and refining prototypes. Eventually we arrived at just the right combination of durable yet lightweight materials with a design that was user friendly and functional.

Today each and every Gane Cain is assembled by hand, and is custom made to your specific desired cane length. Because we understand the importance of keeping the American economy strong, every Gain Cane sold is assembled right here at our factory in Sparks, Nevada.
